Anthony Joshua is set to fight the American YouTuber in an eight-round match which will be broadcast in real-time on Netflix.
Briton Anthony Joshua stated he will "overwhelm entirely" the American and "break" his opponent as the pair met personally to promote the upcoming boxing match.
Former twice world title holder Joshua meets YouTuber-turned-boxer Paul - in what is, by the numbers, a huge disparity - at Miami's Kaseya Center on December 19th.
Fighter's Attitude
"I plan to break his face and damage his physique. I aim to demonstrate my superiority," Joshua, 35, said.
"I plan to overwhelm him. That's a fighter's mentality.
"I will genuinely try to hurt him. That's my intention."
Civil Interaction
Despite such comments, a calm Joshua and internet personality Jake Paul - normally known for his theatrics - exchanged pleasantries and maintained decorum with each other.
Jake Paul rather targeted former Joshua rival the Cameroonian fighter and described him as "ridiculous" after the Cameroonian turned down a fight offer.
Taking Aim at Tyson Fury
Anthony Joshua, meanwhile, took aim at British opponent Tyson Fury - and rejected a million-pound wager 'The Gypsy King' states he will put on a Paul win.
"Jake Paul outshines Tyson Fury - he's actually sitting here," the boxer commented.
"I give him credit for that."
Serious Fighter
In spite of saying he intends to hurt Jake Paul, Joshua declined to talk badly about his opponent's boxing ability.
"Jake is a serious fighter," he remarked.
Paul's History
Paul - who initially became famous on the television network - has primarily boxed MMA fighters or faded names since becoming pro.
He was defeated by Briton Fury in 2023.
Financial Attraction
However, the novice continues to be one of boxing's greatest money-making draws, frequently receiving huge financial rewards.
Forecast and Confidence
The 28-year-old anticipated a stoppage in round four or five and claimed he would stop the highly-expected match between Joshua and Fury, which is apparently under discussion for 2026.
"It will be me versus Tyson Fury in the coming year," Jake Paul stated.
Size Disparity
As the two fighters participated in the traditional stare-down, with their height and weight contrast on show, it highlighted just how unlikely this whole event is - and how remarkable it is that the fight is truly happening.
